Devante and Kayla's Wedding Day- September 7th 2020
After seeing the amazing proposal that all of Chattanooga was buzzing about, I was sure of two things… One, that I wanted to photograph this wedding, and TWO… That this wedding was gonna be a BLAST!!! And Devante and Kayla did NOT disappoint!!! The entire day was filled with fun, laughing, amazing food and of course AWESOME DANCING!!! Take a look at the proposal video below:)
Flash Forward 9 months and its officially wedding day!!! The Venue went above and beyond as normal. Now add that with the Best DJ in Chattanooga with Big Kid Entertainment (Million Dollar Man), amazing breakfast food from Chef Express, Floral and Design by 126 Designs, and lets not forget the amazing bartender service Boss Bartender!!! Those ingredients lead to an amazing night!!! And that it was!!! Check out a little slideshow we put together for the newlyweds.

As most of us know, the wedding is a start of an amazing adventure together. As Kayla and Devonte go through life, it is going to be vital for them to remember and be able to look back on their amazing day. Now, having digital is great… don’t get me wrong… But when you have your future children on your lap telling them about your special day, do your really want them to look at a computer screen, or a timeless custom created wedding album? After a long day of work, coming home to a messy house, and the stress of life is on your shoulders, until you look up at that gallery wrap hanging on the wall reminding you of all the awesomeness in your life. These memories are what carry us to the next level and deserved to be printed up and displayed beautiful. No one is going to do that for Kayla and Devonte better than us!!! Toddlerology Professionals!!!
Did I mention that Shea and I specialize in toddlerology!!! Don't believe us??? Ask the Vandervelt Family!!! For our first marathon weekend of senior portraits we borrowed an awesome black vintage truck from a friend and it was a hit! I now officially want tone for the studio lol. Between the lighting at sunset and the truck and of course our beautiful senior, what a dynamic portrait session! Congratulations Class of 2020!

We LOVE creating scenes for our clients. We just let our creative side run with it and have fun. So for little miss, mom knew gold and pink was exactly what she wanted! Thankfully our studio is stocked with cake smash banners and decorations and we glammed it up! Happy First Birthday!!!

One of our favorite milestones by far is the One Year Session… cake, crawling, walking and even running! It’s like the photographer’s version of cardio lol. We do have a lot of fun, and somehow in all the chaos, we get some great portraits! Happy birthday, sweet boy!

One of the fun perks to our studio is that just outside the back door are multiple textured walls and a large field- all perfect for rounding out a session. Each senior session is different, from personalities to hobbies. Capturing each high school senior as they are at this time is such a fun and unique challenge. This year may have been a bit crazy for high school seniors everywhere but hopefully our free senior sessions make up for it a little bit!

When clients book their maternity session, we always ask what their vision for their final portraits are. My favorite is when I hear glowy, sunset and rustic! One of our favorite fields to shoot in has the most perfect sunset light and tree line. You move one way it’s trees, you move another and it’s a golden field. This gorgeous couple welcomed their newborn very soon after this session and we wish them much love and many blessings! Thank you for choosing us to capture your maternity session!

Chattanooga Newborn Studio Session
Some photographers secretly cringe when parents show up with a must have newborn pose list. Us, on the other hand, welcome the challenge to create an newborn portrait that is meaningful to your family. Mom and dad really wanted to showcase little brother’s love of cars and trains. They bought this Tonka dump truck for a newborn pose and big brother loved the truck so much it became his lol. Gotta love toddlers!

One of our favorite mini sessions all year is our Pumpkin Patch Minis. It’s the epitome of fall- pumpkins, crisp air and apple cider. This little guy’s crystal blue eyes are gorgeous against the dark fall colors!
Chattanooga Halloween Cake Smash Session
When mom told us she wanted to do a Halloween Cake Smash session for this baby girl’s first birthday, we were excited. Cake Smash sessions are our fave! Cupcake Kitchen did an amazing job on the cake and this little girl was ready to smash and eat some cake! Happy Birthday, Boo-tiful!
