Dance Studio
Media Days
Portraits with the polish of a performance and a picture-day plan that respects your dancers, your families and your studio schedule.
Created for studio owners
Artful portraits.
An organized experience.
Your dancers have worked for every line, expression and leap. We create portraits that honor that work, then handle family ordering, questions and fulfillment so your team can keep running the studio.
One studio. Every style.
A complete look across
your entire program.
Direction that brings out confidence
Every dancer deserves
their own moment.
From roster to delivery
A picture day that
actually runs on time.
Plan
We map dancers, costumes, groups, timing and the visual direction with your studio.
Photograph
Age-appropriate posing and movement direction create variety without slowing the schedule.
Create
We finish individual portraits, group photographs and studio-branded artwork.
Deliver
Families order privately while our studio handles questions, production and fulfillment.
Individual portraits
Polished enough for the wall.
Personal enough to feel like them.
We photograph clean portraits, expressive close-ups and movement-led images with careful attention to hands, feet, posture and costume. Every dancer is guided, never rushed through a one-pose assembly line.
Made easy for families
Your front desk does not become
our customer-service department.
Families receive a private ordering path for professional prints, group photographs and portrait products. We answer the questions, manage the orders and oversee fulfillment from start to finish.
A focused service
We do one thing beautifully:
studio portrait media days.
We do not offer recital coverage. Our time, equipment and creative energy stay focused on making picture day exceptional—and making the final portraits worth purchasing.
A program built around your studio
Clear scope.
No surprise workload.
Every studio receives a custom plan based on dancer count, number of groups, costumes, space and scheduling needs. Qualifying programs may have no upfront photography fee when participation and schedule requirements are met. All terms are confirmed in a simple written proposal before picture day.
Staff Headshots
Per person when photographed during the scheduled studio media day.
Studio Proposal
Schedule, deliverables, family ordering and studio responsibilities in writing.
Individual. Group. Studio.
A consistent look from
the first dancer to the last.
Before we plan
Dance media day
questions, answered.
Do you photograph recitals?
No. We specialize in planned portrait media days for dancers, groups and studio staff. We do not offer recital or live-performance coverage.
How many dancers can you photograph?
We build the schedule around your enrollment, costume changes, groups and available time. Include an estimated dancer count in the form below and we will recommend the right setup.
Can you photograph both individuals and groups?
Yes. The program can include individual portraits, class groups, competition teams and studio-wide images when the schedule and space allow.
How do families order?
Families order privately through the studio-approved ordering process. Matt & Shea Photography handles family questions, production and fulfillment.
Do we need a large studio space?
Not necessarily. We review room dimensions, ceiling height, access and the planned group sizes before confirming the setup. If your space is not ideal, we can discuss other options.
What about costume changes and multiple disciplines?
Those are built into the plan. Accurate rosters and costume information help us create a realistic schedule that protects both portrait quality and the studio day.
