Our expert photographers preserve tender moments and joyful expressions, creating timeless images that symbolize the love and serenity of maternity. This session gives you 15-20 images to choose from when making your selections.

A studio maternity session at Matt & Shea Photography offers an intimate experience to celebrate your journey into motherhood. Our cozy studio features warm lighting and various backdrops to match your style. We discuss your vision, ensuring your comfort and confidence. Then we guide your poses to showcase your baby bump and capture this special time. This session gives you 30-40 images to choose from when making your selections.

• Up to 2 outfit changes

This session gives you 30-40 images to choose from when making your selections.

• 1-hour outdoor session that will take place outdoors within 25 miles of our studio

• Up to 2 outfit changes

• You'll have access to beautiful maternity gowns and accessories if desired.

• Ordering and viewing consult in our studio’s viewing room, about a week later, to look at your images and make your selections.

Miracle’s journey experience

Capture the magic of motherhood with Matt & Shea Photography's Miracles Journey Experience. Start in the studio and finish outdoors for the best of both worlds. Let us preserve these precious memories in timeless photographs you'll cherish forever.This session gives you 50-60 images to choose from when making your selections.

Here is what is included in this collective experience:

• 30-minute studio session that will take place in our custom-designed 1500-square-foot studio

• 1-hour outdoor session that will take place outdoors within 25 miles of our studio

• Up to 2 outfit changes for the outdoor portion and then 1 outfit for the in studio portion

• You'll have access to beautiful maternity gowns and accessories if desired.

• Ordering and Viewing Consult in our studio’s viewing room, about a week later, to look at your images and make your selections.

Things to Consider When Booking Your Maternity Session

• Ideal Timing:
  We recommend scheduling maternity sessions between 32–38 weeks, during the middle of your third trimester, when your bump is beautifully defined and you’re still comfortable.

• Siblings & Scheduling:
  If siblings will be included, please keep nap times and school schedules in mind. For toddlers, we recommend arriving with them fully awake so we can make the most of your session time without delays.

• Wardrobe Guidance:
  We offer a small selection of maternity gowns at the studio. We recommend avoiding slimming colors like black and loud or busy patterns so the focus remains on you and your baby bump.

• Studio Sessions:
  If you’re booking a studio maternity session, feel free to contact us ahead of time to discuss set options and outfit pairings that work best with our scenes.

• Health & Mobility:
  Please let us know in advance about any movement-related or health concerns. Your body is already working hard, and we’re happy to adjust posing to keep you comfortable.

• Enjoy the Moment:
  This session is about you, your bump, and your family’s anticipation of your newest arrival. Relax, have fun, and soak in this special season—it goes fast.
