newborn sessions
From the very first moment you see your newborn baby – your world will change. And before you know it your sleepy, squishy baby will be rolling over, crawling, and walking. You only have one opportunity to capture your newborn and all of their newness. Savor these moments forever with timeless newborn photography. At Image Photography, Matt and Shea specialize in fine art newborn portraits. Our studio is stocked with props, hats, and everything you need to create beautiful, custom images of your baby.
Shea and I are both photographers with the PPA(Professional Photographers Association) and know the techniques that are used to not only capture your baby’s first portraits but to also keep them safe during the session. Our studio is also a fully insured professional studio, so when you step inside for your session, you and your family can sit back and enjoy this special event.
Newborn Session Options
We understand that every family, baby, and budget is unique. That's why we offer two types of newborn photo sessions. The "simplistic newborn session" includes a blanket background and various poses, resulting in 15-20 images for you to choose from. Our "signature newborn session" offers scene and wrap changes, as well as family portraits. We are confident that you will love the images from either session. simplicity newborn session
$100 deposit to book
The Newborn wrap session takes your little one and wraps them up nice and snuggley keeping them completely happy and extremely easy to work with and maneuver into various swaddled poses. The session usually takes around an hour. During the session, your baby will be wrapped. This session does not include naked baby or family portraits.
1-hour session that takes place in our dedicated newborn studio with portraits of your little one swaddled in various scenes created by Shea. (This session does not include family breakout poses)

Professional deep cleaning of newborn studio to make sure that baby has a safe and healthy environment for the session
Access to our extensive collection of newborn props, wraps, blankets, and furniture
The session produces around 20-25 images that will be edited with blemish removal, skin softening, and color correction to ensure that your images look perfect
Ordering and Viewing Consult in our studio’s viewing room, about a week later, to look at your images and make your selections. Pricing is a la cart and prints start at $15 while additional digitals start at $50
Your session fee of $100 will be credited back toward print credit at your ordering session
signature newborn session
$150 deposit to book the session
Our Newborn Signature Session offers an extended newborn experience. We book the studio for 3 hours to ensure we have plenty of time with your baby. This flexible timeframe allows for feeding and various scene setups. The session includes photos with siblings and parents, shots of the baby wrapped and naked, as well as custom scene creation. Sometimes, the session may take the entire 3 hours, while at other times, we may finish within 2 hours. In some cases, we may need to schedule an additional session. This approach ensures that we can take our time and capture beautiful, memorable images of your little one.
2-3 hour session that takes place in our dedicated newborn studio with various scenes created by Shea. Then we move over to the big studio for your first portraits as a family, featuring break-out poses with parents and siblings

Your session fee of $150 will be credited back toward print credit at your ordering session
your deposit reserves your time at the studio and is non-refundable. Digital images are available for purchase at the ordering session but are not included with the session deposit.

Once you choose which session best fits your needs and you check out, please give us 48 hours to get to you to confirm your date. Don’t worry if your bundle of joy hasn’t arrived yet, its great to plan ahead, and it gives us even more time to plan your newborn session.Your session deposit will be returned to you in print credit at your ordering session.
Viewing and Ordering Session
When returning to for your Viewing and Ordering Session about a week or so after your photos are captured, I offer custom wall artwork such as gallery wraps, metal prints and heritage wood creations, albums that are customized in coffee table format featuring your images elegantly designed, custom framing and other custom portrait products. Digital collections are also available. I will help you choose the the best products to compliment your home and your style.
Minimalistic Newborn shots feature more of just baby, features, expresses and posing. But each pose is captured to showcase them and only them.
Showcasing props with your baby is one of my favorite things to do, it can be about something you love, or it can be something to accent their nursery. the sky is the limit.
get the family involved
Our Signature Newborn Session encourages family members, both parents and siblings to be involved in the session. Create a beautiful family portrait with your newest member or get an amazing shot of all your little ones together holding their newest sibling. Family breakouts take place after the regular session in our newborn studio. After which we head over the the big studio and capture both traditional and connection portraits to showcase your family and their love for the newest blessing.
