At Matt & Shea Photography, every session is thoughtfully planned and intentionally paced to provide a relaxed, elevated experience from start to finish. Whether you are booking a newborn, maternity, family, or portrait session, our goal is to create timeless images while ensuring comfort, safety, and care throughout your time with us.
Sessions are designed to be guided and stress-free. You never have to worry about posing, expressions, or what to do—we’ll walk you through every step while allowing space for natural moments to unfold. Our clean, professional studio is fully prepared for each session, with attention to lighting, styling, and comfort.
For newborn and child sessions, we work patiently and follow a baby-led approach, allowing time for feeding, soothing, and breaks as needed. We never rush the process, because the best images come from calm, comfortable environments.
Our style focuses on classic, refined imagery that stands the test of time—images meant to be displayed, cherished, and passed down.
Booking Information
To secure your session, a session fee is required at the time of booking. This fee reserves your date and time and covers the photographer’s time, talent, studio use, props, and preparation. Session fees are non-refundable.
Due to the nature of our schedule and the level of preparation involved, we require 48 hours’ notice for rescheduling. Sessions may be rescheduled up to two times (excluding weather-related reschedules). A third reschedule, cancellation without the required notice, or no-call/no-show will result in forfeiture of the session fee and any promotional credits or items.
If you arrive 15 minutes late, your session will be rescheduled to ensure we have adequate time to create a successful experience for every client that day.
Please note that once your session is scheduled, downgrades are not available. Upgrades may be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on availability.
Images & Products
Digital files are not included with the session fee. The session fee covers the experience itself—not the images.
Following your session, you will be invited to an ordering appointment where you can select from professional prints, wall art, and digital downloads.
Prints begin at $15
Digital images with unlimited print release begin at $40 per image
We believe your portraits deserve more than a screen—they are meant to be enjoyed, displayed, and treasured.

If you have questions before booking or would like help choosing the session that best fits your needs, you’re always welcome to call or text the studio or fill out the contact form. We respond within 24 hours.
Model Sessions
By booking a model session, you agree that images may be used for portfolio, promotional, and advertising purposes. If you do not wish for images to appear on social media, please do not book a model session.
Children & Flexibility
If a child is not in the mood for photos, Matt or Shea may decide to continue or reschedule based on the child’s needs. This reschedule does not count against you—our goal is the best possible images.
