When Booking your session

Here are some things to consider when booking your session

1. When booking your session its imperative to take into account your babies feeding and nap schedule. That can easily be the difference in a “rough” session vs and great one.

2. If your child falls asleep in the car, try to arrive to your session a little early to give them ample time to wake up and be in a playful mood. Babies that just wake up traditionally do not like someone in their face playing peek-a-boo and making funny noises.

3. Remember to dress your baby or family seasonal specific. If the temperature is 50 degrees, try to not to put your baby in shorts or a personalized onesie;)

4. If you are booking a studio session, feel free to contact the studio and ask about scenes and outfit options that would work with our sets. Having our little ones outfit(s) work with the color schemes and scenes we design will make your images that much better.

5. BRING FOOD, hungry babies ARE NOT happy babies. Pack an emergency bag of snacks, diapers and even a blanket that they are used too in order to make them feel right at home.

Following these simple steps will help us out tremendously in capturing a happy and beautiful portrait for your little ones or family.

Session Booking Policies

1. Session fees are non-refundable, if for some reason you need to cancel your session, the session fee that was paid is forfeited along with any promotional credit or items. If a model session is booked, upon payment, it is agreed that images from your session will be used for promotional, portfolio and advertisement purposes. Should you not your Child’s picture on Social Media please do not book a model session.

2. Outdoor sessions are dependent on the weather. If the forecast shows a 40% chance of rain during your session hour evening before or the morning of, your session will be rescheduled. Our equipment is very delicate to the rain and could be very costly, so we prefer to err on the side of caution. Also if the temperature is not ideal for the age of the child we are photographing then we will ask to reschedule to a warmer day.

3. Due to our strict scheduling, your session will be rescheduled if you are 15 mins late for your session. Please contact us with any unforeseen scheduling conflicts. This is to insure that we adequate time to capture a successful session. Especially dealing with babies and toddlers, its good for them to get here a little earlier to get acclimated to the surroundings. It provides much better smiles!!!

4. If for some reason you need to reschedule your session, please give us a 24 hour notice to attempt to fill your spot. You can reschedule your session two times, (not including weather reschedules). On the third time, your session fee is forfeited along with the any promotional credit or items. If an emergency arrives where you can’t make your appointment or call, please let the studio know by email, Facebook Message or call us at (423)521-7427. We will evaluate the reschedule on a case by case basis.

5. If you are a no call, no show for your session, your session fee is forfeited along with any promotional credit or items.

6. If for some reason your child isn’t in the picture taking mood, Matt or Jenn will make a decision to keep going or to reschedule the session to another time or day that fits the little ones nap schedule or feeding schedule a little better. This reschedule does NOT count toward you at all, we just want the best pictures possible of your little one.
