Our outdoor family photo sessions are the perfect way to capture your family's most cherished moments against the backdrop of nature's beauty. With a keen eye for capturing natural, candid moments, Matt and Shea create timeless photographs that authentically reflect the love and bonds within your family. Whether it's a fun-filled day at the park or a scenic hike in the mountains, our sessions are designed to let your family's unique dynamics shine through. Location, Location, Location
With the amazing views and scenery that Chattanooga has to offer, finding a location as a photographer has never been easier. I have several locations around the studio that I have access too, like Chester Frost Park, private fields and of course our beautiful downtown River Front at Coolidge Park, but we are open to any ideas that you might have.
Clothing
COLOR IS IN! This photo shoot is meant to capture your family, including individuality and style. Helpful tips to keep in mind when choosing outfits:
Think coordinating, not matching. Incorporate colors and patterns that fit well together, not all professional family pictures have to be black shirts and Khaki pants.
Don’t be afraid of color! Choose a few neutral colors, and then add a few bright accents to your outfits. Accessories such as scarves, necklaces, and clothing layers are great for this.
Make sure all clothing fits just right, nothing too baggy and nothing too tight, as a hint, mainly for the dads out there, if you wore them your Senior year of high school…time to let them retire.
Stay away from screen print and logged items, I know the Gucci shirt costs $500, and it looks great… But we want the picture to be about you and your family, their personality and connection. So no logged shirts help make that happen.

It’s time to start getting those outfits ready. The Fall Portrait Season is Upon us!!! Soon the mountains are going to be covered with reds, golds, and oranges in nature’s most beautiful time of the year, and the best time to get Fall Family Portraits done.
Here is what is included in your session fee:
60-minute sessions at a location within 15 miles of the studio, time includes travel. For other locations please contact the studio at (423)521-7427 for booking
A pre-session phone consult with us to discuss what you are looking for in your studio session and any ideas. This can take place via phone, text, or Zoom/FaceTime
Access to our large collection of props and furniture to add to your session to give it that custom, natural, and elegant feeling
This session includes up to 8 people, each additional person will be a $50 charge. If your session has 3 or more children ages 1-3 years old, we do require you to upgrade your session to the 90- minute outdoor session to help accommodate the toddlers
Each session produces a social sample to be posted on our Instagram, Facebook, or other social media platforms. Feel free to share this image on your page and make sure to tag us;)
The session produces around 30-40 images for your collection. Then images will be edited with blemish removal, skin softening, and color correction to ensure that your images look perfect
You also get an Ordering and Viewing Consult in our studio’s viewing room about a week later to look at your images and make your selections. Pricing is a la cart and prints start at $15 while additional digitals start at $50
Your deposit of $100 will be credited back toward print credit at your ordering session

your deposit reserves your time at the studio and is non-refundable. Digital images are available for purchase at the ordering session but are not included with the session deposit.
Book your outdoor family session
Book your session right here on our website, once you pay your session deposit, you will be asked to choose your top three date choices for your session. We do not guarantee your first choice, but I will make one of those three days work. You can also contact the studio before you book to make sure your date is available by calling (423)521-7427, texting us, or filling out the form below. Your session deposit will be returned to you in print credit at your ordering session.
Creation and Selection Session
A week after your session we will meet back at the studio for our creation and selection session. This is where it all comes together! You’ll come into the studio to view your images and make your final selections. View your images on an 8 ft projector and relax in our custom selection room with samples of all the different products that we offer. There we will create amazing pieces of artwork featuring your photos. Before your Creation and Selection Session we ask that you send me a picture of a wall or walls that you would like to have artwork hung up on, with that picture we will design an amazing wall display to create the perfect look for your home. Use my 20 years of experience to help decorate and get what you truly want out of your session. I want you to leave the studio with excitement and confidence about the products you have selected.
